The design of the cooling section often depends on the preceding heat treatment. This can be a continuous system or chamber furnace.

With direct fresh air supply from the environment without pre-cooling of the sucked-in air stream. Used with target temperatures down to min. 60°C it is an economical solution.

 

Fresh air supply with pre-cooling down to 60°C brings a time advantage and enables target temperatures down to ambient room temperature. Cooling the volumetric flow can be implemented via different heat exchange principles, e.g.:
